About me
Beyond the academic profile
A personal note on what sits behind the formal CV.
Biography
I’m Giuseppe, an Italian scholar based in Switzerland. I moved here to pursue my PhD after training in economics, a field that still shapes how I think about evidence, decisions, and the way people respond to information. Over time, my path has moved through universities in different roles: student, researcher, lecturer, tutor, and contributor to academic service. Those experiences taught me to read institutions from the inside, to listen carefully before drawing conclusions, and to enjoy the slow work of understanding context. Right now I’m focused on finishing my doctoral papers and would like to keep working in research, inside or outside academia, on questions where rigorous methods can help people understand information more clearly. Away from work, I read often, sometimes philosophically and often across languages, because I am drawn to questions that take time to unfold. I’m also an experimental cook, a traveler when schedules allow, and a devoted listener of good music.
